Summer Camp

Summer time is right around the corner! The children are getting ready to finish school and are excited for the two months of free time ahead. However, for the children of South Camden there are also challenges. Most live with loving single mothers who are struggling to find work and make ends meet. The surrounding area is troubled with drug activity, violence, and poverty.

This summer Fellowship House will serve this community by providing a safe day camp for the children to come to through the month of July (click here to learn about our sumer program volunteer opportunities). Each child will receive a healthy breakfast and lunch, participate in games and activities, play in our new playground and “Butterfly Park", and learn more about Jesus. In June and August, children will be able to attend wonderful camps outside of the city. For many of the children it is their first experience outside of Camden. They will have the opportunity to learn more about God, stay in beautiful surroundings, meet children and people from different walks of life, participate in canoeing, archery, crafts, swimming, basketball, and so much more.

So often the children of South Camden are forgotten. Let’s not forget them this summer. Please consider sponsoring a child at $50 for a week, $200 for a month, or $400 for the summer. You will even receive a thank you picture from one of the children.

Sponsor a child in our summer program!

$10 for a day | $50 for a week | $200 for one month | $400 for two months
