Fellowship House understands how important it is to know the basics in life. An alarming number of Camden teenagers and adults don’t even know how to turn on a computer. This program is offered to give the residents of Camden the help that they need free of charge, to gain basic skills that can be applied to daily life.

  • Learn to Write a Resume
  • Basic Typing Skills

How long are the classes?
Accelerated classes are for one hour, one day a week for six weeks.

Donate learning materials (example: typing, navigation tools, how to CD's, new or slightly used computers, etc.) Please see wish list for other items. “Generous donors help Camden residents make better lives for themselves and their families.”

What will I gain from taking this class?
Life skills. Everywhere you look today, computers are used. It’s up to you to take the first step. You will learn how to navigate through Microsoft Software which is used in many of today’s computers. You will learn how to e-mail, the basics of typing, clip-art, internet searches, how to write a basic resume, etc.  You can add these classes to your resume skills.
