Women’s Ministry Luncheon Meetings: Changing Women’s Lives through Christ!

On a regular basis, Fellowship House offers lunch meetings for local women. These lunches include nourishment for the mind, body and soul. The women of the area enjoy this wonderful ministry because they can get the things they need and hear the Word of God. Fellowship House Staff and guest speakers show them that there is a wonderful Christian life waiting for them with a magnitude of benefits if they just hang in there, stay strong and hold on to God’s holy Word. Come hear the powerful testimony of some of these women in our group, we support each other, we laugh, cry, uplift and pray together.

The Women’s Ministry does not have a budget for anything, and our women depend on the donations provided by generous donors like you!

When are women’s luncheons held?
Every third Thursday of each month at 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM.

Who attends the women’s luncheons?
Everyday women from the neighborhood from all backgrounds, including housewives with limited incomes, some with addictions, homeless women, and prostitutes.  Women who don’t have the basic necessities of life, who are fighting a daily battle to see the love of God. Some of these women can’t even be role models for their own children because life’s burdens are so overwhelming.

Why is this ministry offered?
Knowing that the local women need toiletries and basic small household items for their homes, Fellowship House staff wanted to make life a little comfortable for these women by offering some of the basics necessities of life. Combining the two bought forth the women’s ministry!
