The city of Camden has been consistently ranked first or second on the list of American’s Most Dangerous Cities. The community of South Camden is known to be one of the poorest and most dangerous areas in the city. Hundreds of innocent children live within this environment each day. They live amongst the poverty, they walk the violent and drug-ridden streets, and they see the hopelessness all around them. Yet, these very children are full of smiles, laughter, and great potential.
Fellowship House provides the children with a safe place to come to after school. We run positive programs targeting spiritual growth, academic growth, and social growth. It is our desire to be a holistic ministry to the children in this area; to meet the many needs of each child.
The After School Program and Summer Programs are run by committed staff members who have served in this area for many years, and numerous volunteers. Thanks to the generous donations of individuals, churches, and organizations, we can provide free programs to any family in need from South Camden.
