We believe it is important to provide the children of South Camden with a safe day camp in their area during the summer.
We believe it is important to provide the children of South Camden with a safe day camp in their area during the summer.
However, we also believe that it is a life changing opportunity for a child to experience a week outside of the city; to meet children from all walks of life, experience nature, participate in new activities, and learn more about Jesus.
During the summer, Fellowship House Children’s Program runs a six-week day camp. College interns, Camden teens, and volunteers provide fun and dynamic Christian programming for the children. The day camp includes breakfast, lunch, recreation, art, an opening time filled with songs, games, and Bible lessons, afternoon enrichment activities, sports leagues, and weekly swim trips!
We partner with Camp Streamside in the Poconos, Pennsylvania, to provide the children with an amazing opportunity to see beyond city life. It is a great experience for the children as they meet children from different backgrounds, participate in exciting new activities, see places they would not normally have the chance to see, and grow in God
